Welcome!

Welcome to austinagrodolce … My family and I garden with more intention and enthusiasm than allocated budget or overall design plan. It shows. Wildlife populations don't seem to notice our lack of cohesive design, they just like the native plants here. It seems by growing local we've thrown out a welcome mat. Occasionally, we're surprised at who (and what) shows up.

I'm back.  (cue crickets)

Things will be a little different around here this go-round.  I have more to say about life in general and less to say about food and cooking in particular.  Check it out, hang around a while, leave a comment if you wish.  Encouragement is always welcome.

Tonight I'll make pot stickers.  For dessert I threw this together and could not help but think, "boy, those color wheel people are really on to something".

Thanks, Iris! I sure did appreciate all the blue and purple flowers on your last bloom day post. Your gardens are covet-worthy plus.

So glad to hear you're back. In recent weeks, every time I read one of your insightful comments on my posts, I'd think "Man, Deb has so much to offer, why isn't she writing more?"

Joan, at least part of why I am back is due to you and your blogging over at Debt of Gratitude. You kept getting my juices stirred up and gave me a safe place to write in little spurts in the comments section until it made sense to give things a whirl again myself. Thank you!
