Welcome!

Welcome to austinagrodolce … My family and I garden with more intention and enthusiasm than allocated budget or overall design plan. It shows. Wildlife populations don't seem to notice our lack of cohesive design, they just like the native plants here. It seems by growing local we've thrown out a welcome mat. Occasionally, we're surprised at who (and what) shows up.

Hurrah for lady bugs!

They always fill me with the joy of childhood. So thankful for that!

Debra and Cat: Thanks as always for dropping by. I didn't have a post that would accommodate this little beauty so I borrowed the wordless meme and plowed ahead. I always consider it a sign of good luck when I see a ladybug - I couldn't resist.

Thanks for commenting, Tina. Two of my favorites in one shot, actually. The ladybug is sitting on a bluebonnet seed pod and though they aren't as pretty as the blooms I'm always happy to have seed to scatter for next year.
