If you are more a green bell pepper fan they could be subbed in I think without anybody throwing a flag for illegal substitutions.

Now we've crossed the Halloween barrier it will be hard to avoid Thanksgiving Food Overload I think. By the time the day gets here I am tired of it lately. Or maybe I'm just getting THAT crochety in my old age....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3859291696897577217.post-53223049641857957612009-11-03T09:39:19.408-06:002009-11-03T09:39:19.408-06:00Love the idea of this stew! Except I would leave the onions out! :D

I agree about rushing into the holiday season too quickly - my husband and I were at Home Depot on October 17 and it was already fully decorated with Christmas decorations!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3859291696897577217.post-55507187284951934402009-10-31T19:08:24.112-05:002009-10-31T19:08:24.112-05:00Happy Anniversary Iris! Enjoy your treats - whether it be a nice meal enjoyed at home with your significant other, or lollipops and raisins after the porch light goes off for the evening.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3859291696897577217.post-33914680823584718052009-10-31T13:38:32.936-05:002009-10-31T13:38:32.936-05:00Great Halloween dinner strategy! I better get busy with something like that, darn it--it's already 1:37 and I haven't even walked the dog.

Because Halloween's our anniversary, we're usually out to eat, so I don't even know if we get trick-or-treaters anymore, but this year we'll be home tonight. I bought organic lollipops and raisins, so that if no one shows up, we won't mind eating the treats!

Cheers to a great Halloween, Deb!Irishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05517165081477969468noreply@blogger.com
